What is Paper?
Indicates the types of proofs requested such as color proof, or press check. Space is also available to note if a press proof is not necessary.
What is proof?
Includes quantity, description, flat size, finish size, and invoice amount of the printing job
What is Job specifications?
Indicates how printing job will be packed such as band, wrap, shrink, box, and skids as well as how printing job will be shipped
What is Packaging/Ship?
Includes specifics such as which press the job will be printed on, number of copies, ink colors, and waste allowance
Indicates various actions such as set changes only, set entire job, scan. Additional information or specifications can be written in.
What is Design/Page layout?
Indicates any material to be supplied or an activity performed by an outside company
What is Vendors?
Includes mailing information such as class, bulk-rate permit, PS labels, UPS shipping number, Fed Ex shipping number, etc.
What is Mailing
indicates all finishing activities to be performed including cutting, folding, drilling, perforation, die cutting, etc.
Bindery
Informs the personnel in the prepress department of what needs to be done. Various stages are also checked to verify that the following are available: imposition, trapping, or separations to print a full-color job.
What is pre-press?
Includes customer name and address, contact person, billing information, quotation, and other important business information
What is invoice?
photos/samples-Indicates where the materials/samples of the printing job should be sent
