My job is to maintain all weapon systems on a ship or boat. That includes the cleaning of rifles and handguns.
Even at sea I'm not attached to a watch but have a regular daily routine. I also have to keep an eye on the ammunition safety throughout the ship and directly advise the commander and the officers on weapons safety. I have three to five sailors who help me.

I train new recruits during their basic training.
