We come to know God through the truth of His Word. In Truth, we submit and surrender our hearts (our spirit) and lives to Jesus (His Spirit). Worship involves knowing who we are worshipping (Jesus) and our response to His Glorious Majesty.

IN John chapter 7 we see that Jesus brothers did not believe in Him. How is this a powerful testimony to us, considering the outcome later on? 

This is a powerful testimony for us because the Biblical record teaches us of the conversion of those closest to Jesus who grew up as young siblings of the Lord. For at 1st they did not believe in Him.  Yet in witnessing His Resurrected, glorified state, they became children of the Faith.

We are saved by grace through Faith in Jesus, trusting in His atoning death and glorious resurrection. We apply His grace to our lives by expressing our faith in our repentance from sin, being baptized in Jesus Name (water), and are filled with the Holy Spirit. This is the New Testament Salvation experience.

The “Word” or logos refers to God’s plan for our salvation which would come by Jesus. This plan was with God from all eternity, and it was God Himself who would fulfill this mission in the man Jesus Christ. 2000 years ago, this Word was articulated, and fully expressed as God manifested Himself, tabernacling Himself in flesh as Jesus (John 1:14)
