What was the deal with those pharisees man! ( What they said about Jesus and how they questioned the man)
16 Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he keepeth not the sabbath day.
15 Then again the Pharisees also asked him how he had received his sight.
17 They say unto the blind man again, What sayest thou of him, that he hath opened thine eyes?
18 But the Jews did not believe concerning him, that he had been blind, and received his sight, until they called the parents of him that had received his sight.
26 Then said they to him again, What did he to thee? how opened he thine eyes?
34 They answered and said unto him, Thou wast altogether born in sins, and dost thou teach us? And they cast him out.
Why did Jesus said “I am the door of the sheep”
Shepherds in Israel stood at the entrance of a sheepfold and inspected each sheep as it entered, treating injuries as needed. After the sheep were gathered in the enclosure for the night, the shepherd would lie down to sleep in the entrance, barring the way so that predators or thieves could not hurt the sheep.
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
Matthew 11:28–30
President Bonnie L. Oscarson, former Young Women General President, gave the following counsel about coming to know truth:
Sometimes we try to do it backward. For example, we may take this approach: I will be happy to live the law of tithing, but first I need to know that it’s true. Maybe we even pray to gain a testimony of the law of tithing and hope the Lord will bless us with that testimony before we have ever filled out a tithing slip.
Definition of Mercy
“Mercy is the compassionate treatment of a person greater than what is deserved” (Gospel Topics, “Mercy,” topics.ChurchofJesusChrist.org).
The Mans ultimate response to the pharisees
24 Then again called they the man that was blind, and said unto him, Give God the praise: we know that this man is a sinner.
25 He answered and said, Whether he be a sinner or no, I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see.
the difference between the Good Shepherd and a hireling
11 I am the good ashepherd: the good bshepherd giveth his life for the sheep.
12 But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and aleaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.
John 3:5
“Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.”

Why the mans parents were afraid
20 His parents answered them and said, We know that this is our son, and that he was born blind:
21 But by what means he now seeth, we know not; or who hath opened his eyes, we know not: he is of age; ask him: he shall speak for himself.
22 These words spake his parents, because they feared the Jews: for the Jews had agreed already, that if any man did confess that he was Christ, he should be put out of the synagogue.
23 Therefore said his parents, He is of age; ask him.
And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold
In John 10:16, the Savior taught the Jews in Jerusalem that He would visit God’s children in other lands, teach them His gospel, and bring them into His fold (His Church). The Book of Mormon sheds light on this verse.
