Consent must be documented and visualized in the patient's electronic record or hard chart at these times.
Prior to any procedures or giving blood products.
Windowsills must be cleared of care supplies and excess patient items for these reasons.
What is infection prevention (clean surfaces, dust build-up), safety and maintenance, to maintain a healing environment.
How patient food must be labeled.
Room number, initials, 3 days out
Test strips and solutions for glucometers must be labeled this many days out.

What is Policy Manager on the Intranet?
If an ID band is missing or not on the patient, staff should do this immediately.

Equipment must be cleaned according to this, including wet and dry time.
What is the manufacturer's instructions for use (MIFU)?
Multi-dose medications must be labeled with this expiration time frame once opened.
What is 28 days?
Intermittent IV Infusion Tubing should be changed this often.
What is Daily?
The most important thing staff should do if they don't know an answer during a survey.
