During the Trojan War, Odysseus devises the famous strategy to end the ten-year siege of Troy. He suggests building a massive wooden horse and hiding Greek soldiers inside it. The Greeks present the horse as a gift to the Trojans, pretending to abandon the war. The Trojans, believing they have won, bring the horse inside the city. At night, the Greek soldiers emerge, open the gates for the rest of the army, and Troy is sacked, bringing the war to an end.
