  • In the absence of specific instructions, students may use AI to support their work but may not use such tools to do their work. While it may not always be clear where the line is, generally AI may be used to help learn about topics, but AI should not be used to create drafts of assignments.

  • All use of AI must be cited in any work that a student turns in. This means that there should be a statement at the end of the assignment explaining how any AI applications were used and the sources cited.

J.S. Bryant School recognizes that students may get hungry at various points throughout the day and that healthy snacks support wellness and learning. JSB will provide nutritious and nourishing snacks in the kitchen and Great Room. Students may also bring personal snacks from home.

Snacks may be enjoyed at appropriate times as long as any associated mess is disposed of properly. Each person is expected to clean up after themselves. If allowed by teachers and staff, eating in the classroom or at undesignated times is permitted with the understanding that it does not create any distraction to teaching or learning.
