How would you enable this feature for a client and how long can the setup take?
Navigate to the Enable Services screen and click “Enable” from the Drug Testing section. Paycom will release a drug testing questionnaire you must complete for HireRight® to begin the two-week setup process.
What is a benefit to having the Enrollment process separate from the benefit plan rollover?
You can rollover your benefits plans at any time without having to complete enrollment at the same time. Clients no longer have the issue of missing the last step on the tab and clicking yes to those questions. Paycom will save the progress for each plan so you can begin making changes to your plans while you wait on new rates.
How many different types of Drug Testing options are there?
Five:
DOT Alcohol Test, DOT Drug Test – 5 Panel Expanded, DOT Physical, Drug Test – Non-DOT 5 Panel, Drug Test – Non-DOT 9 Panel
The client no longer has to go in and review each tab of the benefit plan they are rolling over before finalizing the rollover. True or False?
True, they can click finalize rollover without having to verify or make changes within the plan tabs like they used to have to walk through with the rollover wizard. If they would like to still review their plans, they will hit review plan details.
The client has drug testing enabled and cannot see a certain drug testing service in the BC drop down. What is the first thing you should check if you know it has been enabled?
Permission profile of the user.
While rolling over the enrollment, the option for Enroll, approve and Send to payroll is not displaying for the user. What is the first thing we would look at to determine the cause of this issue?
If the user has approve and send to payroll enabled in the ben admin tab of permission profiles.
If I client chooses to run the drug testing services using client-certify method, what are they then responsible for?
Client will be responsible for selecting the employee's testing site. Otherwise, you can select that the applicant or employee will be completing the request and at that point, the employee would choose their testing site themselves.
With this new enhancement, the client no longer has to choose their own benefit plan codes during rollover. True or False?
True, there is now a button that allows the system to generate the plan codes.
