This Prophets Marriage was used to illustrate the relationship between Jehovah and the Nation of Israel. His wife was unfaithful to him similar to how the nation of Israel betrayed Jehovah by worshipping false Gods and making alliances with other nations. Yet, this prophet got his wife back showing that Jehovah was willing to forgive Israel
