WHO - The Galatians and the Holy Spirit.
WHAT - Paul found that the Galatians were following false teachings. He implored them to allow the Holy Spirit into their hearts so that they could live with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness and self control!

WHAT - Judas betrayed Jesus. The Disciples knew that they needed to replace him, so they prayed and cast lots to see who would replace Judas. Their decision was made through discussion and prayer. They ended with Matthias!
Why did Paul write a letter to the Galatians?
Some people were telling the Galatians things that were not true about salvation. Paul wrote to remind them that salvation only comes through faith in Jesus.

WHAT - When Jesus came back to Earth, He left the disciples with a task - boldly speak of Him and baptize in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

How is Jesus the perfect Priest?
Jesus was the perfect sacrifice for sin, and He speaks to God the Father for us today.

WHAT - The disciples fished all night but caught no fish. Jesus told them to cast the net on the other side and they caught more fish than they could imagine! Peter swam to the shore to see Jesus. While they were eating, Jesus asked Peter “Do you love me?” three times. Peter said yes and Jesus replied “If you do, feed my sheep.”
What does the word apostle mean?
An apostle means: One who is sent on a mission.

How is Jesus the perfect Prophet?
Jesus perfectly reveals God the Father and fulfills what the prophets spoke.
Jesus asked Peter "Do you love me?" and Peter responded "Yes, Lord; you know that I love you." Then Jesus said "Feed my sheep." They did this THREE times.
Peter then became a shepherd and tended to sheep because Jesus was calling Peter to give sheep grass!
Um, actually When Jesus said "feed my sheep," He meant that we should take care of those who cannot take care of themselves. So we should give to the helpless, care for the poor, and help those in need.
WHO - Jesus and Thomas the Disciple.
WHAT - Jesus had died, but people were reporting that Jesus was alive! Thomas doubted and said he wouldn’t believe until he put his hands in Jesus’ hands and side. He did!
How did the disciples choose their new disciple, Matthias?
They narrowed it down to two people, prayed that God would choose the person, and cast lots.

Why do people reject Jesus?
People reject Jesus because all people are born with a sin nature and want to please themselves rather than obey God.
