Why is it important to sit and learn the right way?
So you grow to be an amazing second grader soon and it helps other students not get distracted.
How can we earn a star in the school, not just in our classroom, but in the school as a whole?
When we are walking in line, Ms. Gomez can give us one, and we can earn another if anyone in school says we have a nice and quiet line!
Why are classroom expectations important?
They keep us safe and growing as first graders.
What should you do if you need to go to the bathroom?
Check the whiteboard to see if there is a name already there, put your hand signal up, and wait for Ms. Gomez to say yes.
Why do we change our voice levels?
It helps Ms. Gomez and other students feel safe and comfortable doing their work in the classroom.
How do we treat our material cart?
Nicely, if something is not in it's place fix it and take care of the materials Ms. Gomez provides for everyone.
How do we show we are respectful and safe at school?
By being kind to everyone and respecting everyone's property (bulletin boards, walls, windows, etc.)
