I once had an idea to build a "Blessing Box" outside my church. It is a 24 hour open food/toiletry pantry for those who may not feel comfortable asking for help. I organized, planned, cut through all the "red tape", and eventually convinced my youth group to help me build it, over a year after I had the idea.
Now, there are at least 20 of these boxes at different churches around the Eastern Shore and suddenly it wasn't my idea anymore. Not that I'm mad.
