To signify his worldly motivations

If you notice all our Church processions are counterclockwise, which signifies that we are not of this world. During the 1st hour of the Pascha on Covenant Thursday, the procession for Judas is done in the opposite direction, clockwise, to signify that he broke the law and is acting in a way opposite to God or following the world. This procession is done to remind us not to go against God's teachings.
