Can I get my pet vaccinated while we are here?

We do not do routine vaccines here since we are an urgent care clinic. We can do the rabies vaccine here since it is the only one we carry and it will at least make the pet "legal" until they can get into a GP. Also recommend a GP is there is one you know and love!

Do we send out labwork?

Since we are an urgent care we do not send out any labs. If the Dr. on duty feels that that is necessary then we recommend O to follow up with their GP as soon as possible to get that test done.

My pet has not been eating or drinking much and seems more lethargic, she was completely fine last night. No vomiting or diarrhea. (9 year old Dachshund)

This could be a multitude of things but with the sudden onset and the lack of other symptoms we would suspect pain. Likely back pain given the breed.

NeoPolyDex vs. NeoPolyBact

Both are antibiotics for the eye.

"Dexmethasone" is a steroid that is in NeoPolyDex while NeoPolyBact has no steroid.

What do we not see?

Trick question! We will see anything that comes through our doors. If someone calls saying their pet is unresponsive or in need of immediate care and we are their closest option, we will see it. Though let O know that we cannot do everything here and we will likely have to stabilized then send pet to an EC. But in theory we see "non-life threatening" emergencies.
