All employees will wear a KYUMH logo staff shirt and be dressed in a professional manner appropriate to an employment position for a Children's Shelter.

After your probation period, which is 60 days.

KYUMH employees that have been cleared of fingerprints and the first initial background checks. All visitors/contractors have to be approved and checked in.

Staff will fill out an eternal Incident Report.

Fire/Explosion, Toxic Spill, Bomb Threat, Earthquake, Severe Weather (tornado and flooding), Power Outages/Blackouts, Lockdown.

In the event of a tornado or severe weather, what is the procedure that staff follow?

Staff will check all rooms for clients, assist those needing special assistance, take attendance and account for all residents, call crisis, and remain in the designated Safe Area until further instructed.

Report to the appropriate state agencies of any suspected neglect or abuse.
