What do you do when you want to talk in class?
By raising you hand quietly until you are picked.
What do you do when you get in class?
Sit in your desk quietly answer the do now on your do now sheet. The do now should be ready to be discussed by the time Ms. Kastner does attendance at the start of class.
How should you enter the classroom if you are late?
Hand your late slip to Ms. Kastner and quietly sit in your desk. (Do not try to rizz up ur crush and no aura farming)
What can you do when you finish your work early?
•Study for other classes.
•Organize your notebook.
•Read a school/library book.
•Start working on your homework from another class.
What happens if students talk over Ms. Kastner during class?
Ms. Kastner will stop talking and teaching and the students will have to make up the work for homework.
What do you do to help another be a better student?
You encourage others by saying positive things. No put downs!
How do you ask for help in class?
You ask you partner and group. If you still can't get the answer raise your hand quietly and wait.
What do students do with their belongings?
All of your belongings should be placed under your desk or in your locker.
When do you know that class is over?
When the bell rings (lol, I bet you thought the answer would be, "when Ms. Kastner dismisses you")
What happens if the students are well behaved during class?
Ms. Kastner will be happier and more likely to bring in snacks for you all :)
How do students respect other students properties?
By not touching them or destroying them. Ask to use first before taking anything.
When can I use the bathroom?
Only when given permission and one at a time. Never during instruction or 5 min after/before bell. You must fill out an e-hall pass before you can go.
Where do students sit in the classroom?
In your assigned seat only.
What should you do when you enter the classroom?
Take out your do now sheet and answer the do now question that is on the board.
What happens if you owe late work?
You have ONE week to submit it from the due date. In 2025, too many people abused our late turn in policy.
What kind of food can students have in class?
None, water only. You all lost that privilege in 2025 :)
When shouldn't you talk??
When Ms. Kastner is teaching.
When you are working on individual work.
When you are taking a quiz/test.
Any time when Ms. Kastner said there is no talking.
If you are absent what do you do when you return to school?
Ask for your late work the day you return to school or email Ms. Kastner.
What does a good classroom discussion look like?
Everyone is participating. Not shouting or interrupting others. Having respect for everyone's ideas
What happens if there is damage found in the room?
All group work will stop and all labs will be done individually at your assigned seats in quiet. :(
How can you respect others?
By listening to them, taking turns sharing, and using appropriate language and gestures.
What do students do in case of a fire drill
Leave the classroom quietly. Turn right out of the door, a left down the stairs, and out of the doors by room 113.
When can you go out of the class?
You can't unless Ms. Kastner says you can and sends you with a note or a hall pass.
How do we use classroom technology?
Treat it with care and use it appropriately - only for class assignments. (Unless you have completed all daily assignments, have nothing owed, and are passing-- you can play games quietly if there is time)
What happens if everyone follows the rules, doesn't speak during lessons and instructions, doesn't damage the classroom, and is kind to each other?
We can have an end of the year party :)
