integrate and command assigned joint, inter-agency and multi-national assets;

plan and execute several tactical engagements concurrently;

routinely have command of all the enablers that allow manoeuvre to be executed by more than one formation, sequentially or concurrently, in a battlefield framework of deep, close and rear areas (with the terms “deep,” “close” and “rear” relating to effect, time and space, as well as geography) to enable decisive operations;

enable the delivery of the overall divisional command and control 

communication and information system (C2CIS) capability within which brigade and task force tactical elements manoeuvre; and

sustain several engagements simultaneously.
