An opening in the earth's crust that allow lava, ash, and gases to erupt from a cone-shaped mountain.

A strip of land or piece of land that is surrounded on 3 sides by water- Door County, Wisconsin is an example of one

A steep , vertical, or nearly vertical rock formation with steep sides, that is a common landscape for swimmers and divers

A large area of flat land that is raised higher than the land around it. Can be an elevated plain.

A Large flat area of land where grasses are the dominant vegetation and where taller plant don't exist.
