How would you chunk this paragraph into three different parts?

Astronauts cannot sleep in regular beds while living on a space station. Because there is almost no gravity, they would float around if they were not secured.

To stay in one place, astronauts zip themselves into sleeping bags that are attached to a wall, ceiling, or floor. In space, there is no real "up" or "down," so any surface can become a sleeping spot.

Before bed, astronauts follow routines similar to people on Earth. They brush their teeth, change clothes, and prepare for sleep.

Getting enough rest is important because astronauts must stay alert while conducting experiments and operating equipment in space.

1st chunk: How astronauts sleep in space

2nd chunk: Bedtime routine

3rd chunk: Why sleep is important

What do you picture in this story?

As Maya stepped out of the spacecraft, she saw a landscape unlike anything she had ever imagined. The ground was covered in fine gray dust that stretched across rolling hills and deep craters.

Above her was a pitch-black sky filled with tiny stars. There were no clouds and no blue atmosphere. In the distance, Earth glowed like a bright blue-and-white marble hanging in space.

Each step felt strange. Maya bounced slowly across the surface, leaving footprints in the powdery dust. Every movement seemed lighter and easier than on Earth.

When she looked around, the silence was complete. The only sounds came from her own breathing and the gentle hum of her spacesuit.

I picture Maya walking on the moon and I see her bouncing on the gray dusty surface. In the background, I see the pitch black sky covered in tiny stars.

Before a rocket launches, engineers spend months testing equipment and checking safety systems. Every detail must be carefully reviewed.

On launch day, the rocket is filled with fuel and positioned on the launch pad. A countdown begins as teams monitor weather conditions and spacecraft systems.

When the countdown reaches zero, engines ignite and produce powerful thrust. The rocket lifts off and quickly climbs through Earth's atmosphere.

After reaching space, different sections of the rocket separate, allowing the spacecraft to continue its mission while reducing extra weight.

Chunk 1: Preparation for rocket launch

Chunk 2: How a rocket lifts off and enters space

What do you picture in this story?

The spacecraft glided between Saturn's enormous rings. Millions of icy particles sparkled in the sunlight like floating diamonds scattered across space.

Some pieces were as small as grains of sand, while others were as large as houses. They drifted silently around the giant planet, reflecting flashes of silver, gold, and white light.

Below the spacecraft, Saturn's swirling clouds formed bands of cream, yellow, and pale orange. The planet seemed so large that it filled most of the sky.

As the ship continued forward, sunlight shimmered across the ice, creating a dazzling path that stretched far into the distance.

I see a spaceship flying through space passing by Saturn. The rings are shining in the sky and planet itself is so big and a beautiful mix of colors.

Scientists design Mars rovers to explore the surface of the Red Planet. These robotic vehicles must survive extreme temperatures, dust storms, and rough terrain.

Engineers equip rovers with cameras, drills, and scientific tools. These instruments help collect information about rocks, soil, and weather conditions.

Once launched from Earth, the rover travels through space for several months before reaching Mars. Landing safely is one of the most difficult parts of the mission.

After arriving, the rover begins exploring and sending data back to scientists on Earth. The information helps researchers learn more about Mars and its history.

Chunk 1: Designing the rover

Chunk 2: Traveling to Mars

Chunk 3: The purpose of the rover

What do you picture in this story?

The explorers stood on a rocky hill overlooking a strange valley. Towering purple plants swayed gently in the breeze, their glowing leaves lighting the landscape with soft blue light.

Three moons hung overhead, each a different size. Their pale light reflected off a winding river that sparkled like liquid glass.

In the distance, crystal-like mountains rose into the sky. Their sharp edges flashed bright colors whenever they caught the light from the moons.

As the explorers watched, small glowing creatures floated above the valley like lanterns drifting through the air. The entire scene looked magical and completely different from anything found on Earth.

I see astronauts standing on a strange looking planet in disbelief. There are large purple plants with glowing leaves. I see three moons in the sky and mountains of different colors. Everything is bright, shiny, and nothing like Earth.
