What crisis happened in Cuba

The Cuban Missile Crisis. This was a problem for the U.S. because Cuba allied with the Soviet Union, so the Soviet Union supplied Cuba with nuclear warheads that could strike the U.S. in under 20 minutes, which would probably have caused nuclear war. This would have been bad because the Soviet Union and the U.S. in total had 8318 nuclear warheads. about 4000 belonged to the U.S and about 4300 belonged to Russia. Russia had the tsar bomba, which is a 50-megaton nuclear bomb. Its shockwaves went around the globe 3 whole times. The original plans for the tsar bomba were to make it 100-megatons.
