Value Stocks VS. Growth Stocks whatcha think?

Hint: one is cheaper one is more expensive to buy at first. Which one has the potential for higher earnings theoretically?

Honda Motor Co : $31.84

Lower cost, predictably lower reward or loss.

APPLE INC. (AAPL) $225.17‎

Higher cost, has shown predictability to earn more or lose more

(Predictions based on statistics, no one really knows! or do they? hmm...)

200

What is APY?

The annual percentage yield (APY) takes compound interest into account.

If you're not paying your loan bill, time only makes it a higher bill, as interest is accumulated on your interest!!!

I've never made a budget before! What kind of actions can I take to start?

Ex: for one month track every expense: every time you move money away from your ability to spend that quantity of money. - banks (loans, fees), purchases, bills, philanthropy, ciggies and such...

Write up categories!

What is the difference between Bankruptcy and a Dept Consolidation Loan?

Bankruptcy is a legal process before a judge to relieve some debt owed and "unable to be paid" through forgiveness or a new payment agreement.

A Dept Consolidation Loan is a loan to pay off your loan. Usually this is an option before filing for bankruptcy. The DCL usually has a lower APR than the loan or combination of loans you owe now.

EX: $1000 of debt, with 50% APR

DCL: Gives you a loan of $1000 to pay off above debt. Now you have a new loan of $1000 with an APR of 20%.

Should you call or report online to ChildLine when reporting suspected child abuse?

If you suspect child abuse or neglect, call ChildLine.

Mandatory reporters can report online through the Child Welfare Information Solution (CWIS) system.

Kind of a trick question though, it's best to just make the report however you can.

After the month or budget period is compete what should you do with that budget?

DATA ANALYTICS, throw that on your resume now! :)

How much did I over-spend in with each category? How much did I underspend: ooh extra money for sum else or maybe sAviNgS?

When interest rates rise, the face-value of your bond rises as well! T or F?

Bonds have an inverse relationship to interest rates. When interest rates rise, bond prices usually fall, and vice-versa.

To those unfamiliar with bond trading, the negative correlation between interest rates and bond prices may be counterintuitive. But it makes sense when you consider that a change in interest rates, up or down, makes bonds that were previously issued more or less lucrative to investors in comparison with new bonds issued after the change in interest rates.

Does Ms. Mariah recommend credit cards lol?

Not really. It's a good idea to not spend money you don't have, and especially with interest rates, you're spending money you really don't have!

Now, let's talk about something else I may recommend with the next question...

What's an installment loan? What are some examples?

An installment loan is a credit account that provides a lump sum to be paid off over time in equal monthly payments. Personal loans, auto loans, mortgages and student loans are all examples of installment loans.

These can include interest, which is accounted for...

ex: a car loan for 15,000 with #% APR

- your payment will be 500 for 30 months... but with APR you'll owe a total of 20,000. So, over 30 months you'll pay $666 to cover the principal (original) loan and the interest. You can pay the loan back sooner than the loan terms if you are able and not pay the compounded interest that would develop if the loan lived longer.
