Spark tablet has spotify premium (slay) so all music will be played for the kids off the tablet, not your personals phone.
That being said, this should help limit your phone usage on shift!

The kids are not allowed to play on your phone.
These are types of kid on kid contact that are not allowed.
Grabbing clothes, wrestling, no piggy backs, can't be on top of eachother.

Be as descriptive as possible, what was said, ect. Lists who was involved (kids, leaders, ect.) What did you do to resolve the situation?
Openers will be prepared to do this during their shift.
RUN ACTIVITIES!!! If you are opening it is expected that you will have activities prepared and ready to run during your scheduled time blocks. If you cannot think of an activity reach out to your assistant coordinator or check the SPARK Squad activities binder!
You can be written up for not running activities and engaging with the kids.

This form is required to be filled out if a child is injured and we provide any kind of first aid.

Dress up!! The kids eat it up and you'll make their day. Dress up days are every wednesday with the exception of the first week which will be Thursday.
What should the work group chat be used for
making other leaders aware of what is going on during a shift.
Make sure you're keeping the messages in the work gc work appropriate.
Also a great tool for finding coverage but is NOT equivalent to calling out. please call or text a supervisor who is on shift if you cannot make it.

Document, and TELL A SUPERVISOR!
Things you should be doing while you're on shift.
Engaging with the kids. If you're coloring/drawing it's with the kids. If the kids are starting to have behavior issues there's a big chance that it's because they're bored, so give them something else to do besides cause trouble!
Who is allowed to use the SPARK phone.
