This kind of heart and spirit self-care can seem very challenging in today's society of Snapchat, Instagram, and Tik-Tok. However, by limiting your usage of this will allow you to refocus on what's important, like your big rocks.

There are many opportunities locally that you can do to fulfill this type of heart/spirit self-care. Some examples include: picking up trash in the parks, working at after school programs/activities (Literacy Night is coming!), spending some time playing games at a nursing home, and helping put the flags out for Avenue of the Flags.

This habit reminds you to take care of your most important tool, yourself.
Consume items like these regularly to help get the necessary nutrients your body needs: leeks, legumes, collard greens, and parsnips.
A teen needs 2- 2 1/2 cups of these daily.
This type of mind self-care would be considered a "win-win" for many of you. You can take care of your mind while working towards your quarterly point goals.

This type of self-care for the heart and spirit can be quite fun! Some activities may include going out for supper, attending a school event, or go for a bike ride on the Sheldon trails.
The key to this type of self-care is someone needs to be with you IN PERSON. Snapchat streaks don't count.
