What is the process for handling student organization flyers?
1. Check the form on OrgLINK
2. Make sure the flyer has the date, time, location of the event as well as contact information
3. Make sure the flyer is light enough to be copied
4. Print a copy of the flyer and stamp the approval
5. Make copies of the flyer and set them on the table outside
6. Email the contact on the form and let them know that their flyers are ready

What happens when a student complete the UB Path?
Upon completing the capstone, students will be invited to a ceremony where they will receive a medal to wear at graduation.
What is the proper protocol for answering the phone?
- "Leadership Initiatives, this is _____. How may I help you?"
- Attempt to help them with their question. Your resources are the SHSU website, the LI website, OrgLINK, and the T-Drive. Even if they ask to speak to a professional staff, offer to help them.
- If they need to be transferred, transfer them to the pro-staff member and provide their name and reason for calling.
What are the procedures for closing the office?
- Check the kitchen for anything that needs to be put away
- Sanitize and put away your keyboard and mouse
- Turn off lights in the lobby, hallway and storage rooms
- Close all doors and lock the storage room
- Lock the front door
