This fish-like race are use mostly spears, and actually turn into monsters if Ganon kills Link in Ocarina of Time.

Who is the Hero of the Wind?
This fairy is assigned to protect Link by the Deku Tree.

These bird-like people evolved from the Zora, and in Breath of the Wild, they are seen using bows and arrows.
Who are the Rito?
This is the iconic shield of Link, with a grey outline and a blue inside, along with many designs on it.
What is the Hylian Shield?
These reptilian creatures are named very similarly to their real-life counterparts.
What are Lizalfos?
Most Links wield this part of the Triforce.
What is the Triforce of Courage?
These terrifying spider creatures are only shown in Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask, making the Hero of Time the only one to face them. (They also show up in Hyrule Warriors, though.)
What are Skulltulas?
This race usually lives near Death Mountain, and they are shown to eat rocks, and they even have rocks on their back.
Who are the Gorons?
Usually you can only carry 30 of these explosive items, but in Breath of the Wild, you have infinite amounts of them.
What are bombs?
He takes over the Twilight Realm by force, but he is still merely Ganon’s puppet.
Who is Zant?
This Link wields the Locomotive Sword, and is a blacksmith’s apprentice.
Who is the Hero of the Minish Cap?
When Lino transforms into an adult, he is this many years older than he was as a child.
This ancient race is never really given a role in the Zelda games, until Breath of the Wild, where they even have a counterpart, the Yiga Clan.

This item only appears in Breath of the Wild, giving Link the ability to stop time, use a magnet, blow stuff up, make pillars of ice, and take pictures.
