Written consent
What must the RMT not do in a partnership with an unregulated health professional?
Sharing revenue, fees or income with someone associated with their practice who is not a regulated health professional in Ontario, unless the RMT has a written agreement in place that ensures the RMT is still held responsible for the professional aspects of their practice, including record keeping and billing
How many hours of direct client care within how many years must a RMT provide to renew their certificate?
500 hours of DCC within the previous 3 years
Are members of public education classes considered clients of RMTs? (Education of the public is done voluntarily or at a nominal fee)

How does the CMTO help clients who have been sexually abused by RMTs
They provide funding for therapy and counselling. The maximum funding available to each applicant is established by the RHPA and is equivalent to the amount that OHIP would pay for 200 half-hour sessions of individual out-patient psychotherapy with a psychiatrist (accessible over a 5 year period)
How much time cannot elapse after the successful completion of the educational program for the applicant to apply for MCQ and OSCE testing?
No more than 3 years (or no more than 15 months for a Refresher Course)
If the RMT and another health professional in the client's centre of care have a conflict that interferes within the client's care, what needs to happen?
Work to resolve any problems between the RMT and those involved in the client’s care. Document these concerns and the steps taken to resolve them.

Use their professional judgement to determine if the client can understand the potential benefits and risks of the treatment as explained, and whether the client’s perception of pain or pressure levels, or indeed of what occurred during the treatment itself, could be impacted. If impaired, the RMT should not assess or treat the client.
