1. Provides funding for schools and helps students.
2. US Military; its mission is to protect the US.
3. Enforces federal laws, prevents crime and punishes people convicted of crimes.

The House then votes and they can do any one of these things.

This person is the Commander-in-Chief, can appoint judges for the Supreme Court, issue pardons, sign treaties, receive and appoint ambassadors, is the Chief Diplomat, can veto bills, can sign bills, can propose ideas for bills, and make sure the laws are carried out.

What are policies?
They represent the desires of the people, must be loyal to their constituents, often are rerunning, have 2-year terms, impeach, quicker, are responsive to changes, control many bills, directly voted by people, and must be at least 25 years old to run.
What is the House of Representatives?
After the House agrees then it goes to this place and they vote again.
What is the Senate?
(However, if the Senate makes any changes it goes back to the House for their vote.)

The Executive Branch includes the President, Vice President, and these people.

They have to be older than 30, mostly serious and dignified, have 6-year terms, confirm public appointments, think more of the nation, are mostly immune to public opinion, be deliberative, ratify treaties, hold impeachment trials, and are generally slower on the process.
What is the Senate?
After both houses agree, it is sent to this person and this person can choose what to do afterward.

1. Responsible for the management and conservation of federal land and natural sources.
2. Responsible for federal highways, the railroads, and driver safety.
3. Creates conditions for economic growth and opportunity.
