Abraham returned to lies and told the king that Sarah was this to him. (Just like he did in Genesis 12:13)
What is sister? In that moment of testing, Abraham forgot God's promises.
God patiently grew Abraham's and Sarah's trust in Him, and then graciously did this as He had promised. (Genesis 21:2)
What is he gave them a baby when they were old?
This is what Abimelek said about God's care for Abraham. (Genesis 21:22 - memory verse!)
What is God was with Abraham in everything he did? "At that time Abimelek and Phicol the commander of his forces said to Abraham, 'God is with you in everything you do.'"
This was the name Abraham gave to the son that Sarah bore. It means "laughter."
What is Isaac? Abraham and Sarah laughed with unbelief at the thought of having a son! Then they laughed with joy as they saw God's power at work in their lives.
The angels had to drag him and his family out of Sodom. (Genesis 19:16)

Abraham and Sarah moved to this city for a short while. (Genesis 20:1)
What is Gerar?
Abraham was this age when Isaac was born. (Also called a century!)
What is 100 years old?
Abraham swore to Abimelek to be these two things. (Genesis 21:23). (God can help us be these things too)
What is to be honest and kind? God is honored as His people work towards peace with others.
This was king of Gerar. (Genesis 20:2). He formed a treaty with Abraham.
Who is Abimelek?
This person looked longingly back towards Sodom. It doesn't turn out well. Genesis 19:26)
Who is Lot's wife?
God spoke to King Abimelek by coming to him in this, revealing Abraham's deceit.
What is a dream? Abimelek may not have know much about God, but he feared God enough to talk openly with him.
These are the reasons Sarah told Abraham to send Hagar and Ishmael away. (Genesis 21:9-10)
What are Ishmael made fun of Isaac and that Ishmael will never will never share in the inheritance with Isaac.
Abraham gave these animals to Abimelek as a payment for a well he already owned. (Mary had a little one!)
What are 7 lambs? Abraham was growing in his faith!
This woman wanted to send Ishmael away for mocking her son.
Who is Sarah?
This is the lie/sin that Abraham REPEATS when they are in front of Abimelek so that he isn't killed. (Genesis 20:2)
What is saying that Sarah is his sister? (She was, 1/2 sister, but also his wife)
God told Abimelek in a dream to do this with Sarah. (because she already HAD a husband)
What is give Sarah back to Abraham? Abimelek showed his belief in God by immediately obeying Him.
Adam trusted God and sent Ishmael and Hagar out of his home as God commanded. This is how God took care of Hagar and Ishmael when their water ran out.(Genesis 21:19-20)
What is showed her the well to save them and satisfy their thirst? God commanded Hagar not to fear, but act in faith!
This was the name Abraham called on after making the treaty with Abimelek. (Genesis 21:33)
Who is the name of the LORD, the Eternal God? God is always faithful to His promises.
These two men made a peace treaty together in Beersheba. (Genesis 21:31)
Who are Abraham and Abimelek?
God tells Abraham to send these people away but reassured him that "I will make the son of the slave into a nation also, because he is your offspring." (Genesis 21:13)
Who are Ishmael and Hagar?
Abraham confessed of his sin and then did this so God healed Abimelek's household.
What is Abraham prayed for Abimelek? God cares about drawing all people to Himself to trust His promises.
Like Abraham did waiting for the promise of his son Isaac, this is what WE can do to help us while WE wait.
What is pray? God grows our trust as we pray and wait.
This is the type of tree that Abraham planted in Beersheba. (Genesis 21:33)
What is a tamarisk tree? It marked the place God had met him.
This man was King Abimelek's army commander. (Genesis 21:22)
Who is Phicol?
This is the process of becoming more like Jesus.
