What is civil?
These two amendments are directly related. One protects a person against double jeopardy and from being forced to be witnesses against themselves, while the other ensures that anyone accused of a crime has the right to a fair trial.
What are the Fifth and Sixth Amendments?
A group of citizens who are chosen to decide the outcome of a trial.
What is a jury?
This amendment states that people cannot be forced to pay a fine or bail that is unfair, and they must receive a fair punishment for crimes.
What is the Eighth Amendment?
