Which of these are true for reasons on why leased line internet connections are preferred over broadband internet connections in offices:
1. Leased line connections are always on fiber optics to support higher bandwidth on demand.
2. Leased line connections provide the same bandwidth for download and upload; whereas broadband connections have lesser bandwidth for download and upload.
3. Service providers provide a router with a leased line connection in an office, using which tech team can block unwanted contents.
1. INCORRECT: Some leased line service providers still use copper cables to provide leased line connections supporting a maximum of 40 MBps bandwidth.
2. CORRECT: Leased lines have 1:1 compression ratio which means both download and upload speed are the same as the committed bandwidth. In case of broadband connections, there are
compression ratio such as 1:4 for downloads and 1:8 for uploads; which means for 100 MBs broadband connections, download speed will be 25 MBps and upload speed will be 12.5 MBps
3. INCORRECT: Content filtering can be done using a firewall. Service providers can provide a firewall at an additional cost.
