What is a program?

What is displacement?

What is an axis?
A flat surface that has no thickness and extends forever.
What is a plane?
A document that gives an inventor the sole legal right to an invention for a period of time.
What is a patent?
A one bit/digit value which is given off from a digital sensor.
What is binary value?
Gear teeth that jump over tooth spaces and the top of gears grind past each other.
What is gear gnashing?
A line drawn with a long dash and then a short dash.
What is a center line?
The graphic representation of a part, assembly, or drawing.
What is a model?
The person assigned by the performing organization to lead the team that is responsible for achieving the project objectives.
Who is the project manager?
The process computers use to problem solve and to do calculations.
What is an algorithm?
Used as the measure of mass in mechanics and defined as the amount of matter in an object; an object's resistance to changes in motion.
What is inertia?
A thin line, broken in the middle to allow the placement of the value, with arrowheads at each end.
What is a dimension line?
A representation of the elements of a system using abstract, graphic symbols rather than realistic pictures; usually omits all details that are not relevant to the information intended to convey.
What is a schematic?
The science of designing the workplace as well as its equipment and tools to make specific body movements more comfortable, efficient, and safe.
What is ergonomics?
A true or false statement.
What is a char variable?
The result of a constant force acting over a displacement and the direction of the force is in the same direction as the displacement.
What is mechanical work?
A light line that extends from the edge or end of a main object line on a drawing, used in conjunction with dimension lines to help determine the dimension of a particular feature.
What is an extension line?
A feature that creates a 3D solid or surface by specifying a series of cross sections.
What is loft?
The branch of knowledge concerned with the production, consumption, and transfer of wealth.
What is economics?
Represents a variety of numbers.
What is an Int Variable?
Feedback from sensors to provide information to an internal program.
What are closed loop systems?
Drawing tool used to control the visibility of objects and to assign properties such as color and line type.
What is layer?
A feature used to add or remove material by rotating one or more profiles around a center line.
What is revolve?
The systematic process of collecting and analyzing information to increase our understanding of the engineering idea under study. It is the function of the researcher to contribute to the understanding of the engineering idea and to communicate that understanding to others.
