Bisexual
What is sexually attracted to people not exclusively of one gender.
Transgender
What is when personal identity does not align with gender assigned at birth, generally referring to a transwoman or transman
Identity vs. Sexuality
They are two different things! (I'm not typing the whole answer here)
Transman/Transwoman
Refering to which way it means. Someone who is a transwoman was AMAB and identifies as female
Asexual
A general term for someone who is not sexual attracted to others, someone who does not feel sexual attraction
Non-Binary
A general term referring to those who do not fall into the gender binary man/woman
AMAB/AFAB
There are more than just this, but these are the common ones. It stands for "assigned ____ at birth"
HRT
Hormone Replacement Therapy! It often means taking the hormones of the opposite of someone's assigned gender at birth to alleviate body dysphoria.
Polyamorous
Involving more than one simultaneous romantic partner. Not to be confused with open relationships.
Agender
What is someone who does not have a gender!
Expression vs. Identity
Expression is how someone chooses to show their identity. They are sometimes not the same! You could have a femme identifying individual but they could present very masc!
Androgyny
The quality or state of being neither specifically feminine or masculine; A combination of the two characteristics.
Demisexual
Someone who does not commonly experience sexual attraction until they have some intensity of a romantic connection to an individual
GenderFlux
Experiencing a RANGE of intensity of different genders and even within one identity. It FLUCTUATES
Queer
The umbrella term for someone who is not cis/het/etc. This term is being reclaimed in the community and used to be used offensively!
LGBTQIA+
Name them all! Lesbian, Gay, Bi, Trans, Questioning/Queer, Intersex, Asexual, and many more!
