Policy was recently switched to mortgage bill. How do we find the old account number to view the billing history before it was changed to mortgage bill?

In the account history, it will show the account number it was transferred from.

I can't understand why the system is rejecting the vin number for this 2023 Buick. I'm reading it straight from bill of sale. IBH3OZLNN123YN031

I think I see what the problem might be.  There are certain characters that are inappropriate for vin numbers (the letters I and O are invalid) Try replacing with 1 and 0.

My insured just got a vehicle imported from Japan. The vin number is only 9 digits long. Im getting an error. Is this eligible ?

In most cases it is not eligible. "Any vehicle manufactured outside the United States (usually in Europe) that does not meet U.S. emission and safety standards. – Vehicle must have been upgraded to meet U. S. emission and safety standards – A copy of the vehicle registration verifying the local jurisdiction's Department of Transportation safety requirements and Environmental Protection Agency emission standards are satisfied is required "

Policies in this state are eligible for reactivations within 30 days of the cancellation provided they meet all of the other eligibility guidelines.

I selected C.O.D at the time of issuing the new business application but immediately afterwards customer wants to pay in full.  Can he still get the PIF discount?

No, I'm sorry. Unfortunately, there are no exceptions after the policy is issued. The discount is lost if issue a policy as C.O.D.

Great question, that information is going to be found in the policy language. When you pull up the contract, do a search find for 'Fire Arms'

You would have to endorse both the mailing and location address in PCT so that you can separate the 'mailing/forwarding address' from the location/rating state.

I accidently posted a payment to one of my other clients accounts, using another clients credit card.  Is there anyway we can void that payment out?

No, we are no longer able to void transactions or move money from one persons account to another. Only option is cc reversal or have client dispute pmt through their bank

That is unusual that you hadn't gotten a response back yet.  I would suggest resubmitting the docs, since we don't have an escalation path at this time.

How come I can't add my client's Earthquake policy to their existing billing account with the other policies?

CEA policy billing can't be combined with other Safeco policies. The premium goes to the CEA, not Safeco

Yes the rate could change, since the original vin entered might have not captured the most accurate vin details (value/features/performance) of the vehicle.

After my client's policy migrated from State Auto I processed a policy change and noticed the premium is no longer reflecting the same PIF amount. Why is that?

Migrated policies that are on Full pay with PIF discount offer should have payment posted first before processing policy changes which can throw account out of the migration process
