This genre contains books that are based on facts, not made up.
What is nonfiction?
This is what you use to find the location of a book/to know where to put a book back.
What is the call number?
This is the part of the book where you can find an alphabetical listing of all topics/items.
What is the index?
If I wanted to find a book about Buddhism, I would go to this number section.
What is 200-300, religion?
This is the website you can go to in order to search the WMS library catalog.
What is Alexandria?
This genre contains books that have pictures as well as text that helps to tell the story.
What is graphic novels?
This is where Miss Shaw went to college.
What is the University of New Hampshire?
This is the part of a book where you can find the definitions of words, typically at the end of the book.
What is the glossary?
If I wanted to find a book about marine life, I would go to this number section.
These are the words you type into a search bar for a search engine.
What are key words?
This is a subgenre of fiction.
What is fantasy, science fiction, mystery, etc.?
This is the name of the back room where the paperback fiction books are.
What is Marlee's room?
This is at the beginning of the book, and it usually gives the reader a preview of what is to come.

If I needed to look up the definition of a word, I would use a dictionary. A dictionary is found in this section of the library.
What is the reference section?
This is what you would do if you wanted your search results to be more specific.
