No, do not tape or try to fix torn pages.

1. Ask your teacher for a sticky note. 

2. Write on the sticky note what page was ripped.

3. Put the sticky note on the front cover of your book in the return basket on library day.

How do you use a spotter card or shelf marker?

When you pull a book from the shelves, put the shelf marker in the space the book was in.

If you decide not to check out the book, put the book back in the shelf marker's place. 

Return it to the basket when you are done.
