What is a shelf marker?
(Shelf Markers save a book's spot on the shelf, according to the spine label. A miss-shelved book is a LOST book, if it is out of proper order.)

If you're not finished with your book, you would ask to do this.
What is "renewing it" by letting Ms. Klein know?
(If you need more time to finish a chapter book, you can keep it for another week.)
