If someone borrows a book from you (that YOU checked out), it is still your responsibility if they lose it or damage it.
Why shouldn't I let other people borrow my books?
If this happens, the class will get assigned seats and do a modified version of book selection and check out. No reading buddies will be allowed.
What happens if R.E.A.D comes down three times during the school year?
We will get to stay in our comfy spots, with our reading buddies, talking quietly, even during checkout!
So others can use it too.
