What is the difference between fear in Europe compared to America?
Europeans had to fear being bomb, air strikes, and not having enough food. America didn't really have to worry about any of that because there was only one bombing and the rationing for food wasn't as serious.

People moved to new places across the country to work and to train for war.People across the country grew their own food and collected needed materials to support the war. Americans produced the weapons and equipment that would help win the war.
