Violence: Acknowledge the code and respond if code blue is called.

Guest must go down feet-first and laying down on their back.

Swim Test

All guest that wish to go in water above their shoulders must take the swim test. The swim test requires guest to freestyle swim across the pool once.

What Must Guards Do When Rotating Around The Pool

Check all of the corners.

Code Blue

Major medical emergency: 1 lifeguard responds with the emergency bag and AED, assess victim and give care as needed. Clear pool if only two guards are on duty.

Food

Food is allowed as long as no glass or alcohol is brought in.

Height requirement for the water slide

48 inches (122cm)

Lap Lanes

Guest in the lap lanes must be swimming laps and must be able to complete the swim test.

Holding A Guard Tube

When holding a guard tube one must hold the slack and have the "guard" part facing outward.

Code Silver

Minor medical emergency: 1 guard acknowledges hearing the code. Other guard(s) wait for a code blue.

Toys

Toys are not allowed to be brought in due to them blocking visibility and becoming a hazard.

Goggles

Goggles are not allowed on the waterslide, rock wall, and diving board but are permitted in the rest of the pool.

What Lifejackets Are Allowed

Lifejackets must be coast guard approved.

3 Points Of Contact

The 3 points of contact refer to having at least three body parts on the stand at all times. Two feet down + sitting.

All Clear: Resume normal operations.

Entering The Lazy River

Guest must enter the lazy river through either of the 2 stairs or the opening into the rest of the pool. Guest may not jump in from the side.

Diving Board Jumps

Guest are only allowed one bounce on the diving board. Guest are not allowed to do any back flips or side dives.

Allowed Clothing

Clothing must be clean and family appropriate.

Lightning

Slide tower closes for lightning when it is 15 miles away. The pool closes for lightning when it is 10 miles away. The pool remains closed for 30 minutes.

Code Brown

General evacuation: Evacuate pool, storage room, pool offices, mechanical room, and pool locker rooms. Direct patrons to exit through the pools southeast doors to the grass field. Remain by the southeast pool door until all staff is present.  Radio all clear when complete and meet at the group ramada.

Baby Diapers

Baby diapers are allowed and are required for guest that are not toilet trained. Diapers must be covered by other clothing.

What Is Not Allowed On The Water Slide

Goggles, shoes, and lifejackets are not allowed on the water slide.

Guest Pictures

Pictures may only be taken if there are no other guest who are unknowingly or undesiring to be in it. Pictures are not permitted in the locker rooms.

Lifeguard Uniform

Lifeguards must have a hippack, whistle, hat, and sun glasses. Lifeguards must also have their hair tied back.
