What is the process for moving from BHT1 to BHT2?

  Shadow 3-4 intakes and review all documents for all the cases. 

  1. Write a case summary. A case summary is similar to a case conceptualization meaning that it goes beyond just the information provided and additionally includes how the information collected impacts the course of treatment i.e. presenting problem, diagnosis, primary goal(s). 

  • Participate with the BHP in 2 intakes including administering screenings and gathering information related to the DE. Communicate with the BHP prior to the session to determine what information you will be responsible for collecting. Be prepared for constructive follow up questions if the client is not providing much information. 

  1. Write a case summary and Identify 1 goal and objective for the treatment plan for both intakes you participated in administering. 

  • Role play an intake session with site supervisor or a lead staff member i.e. regional team lead, training lead.

  Complete 2 mock intake sessions in accordance with BHP requirements. Use two fake clients-Fake 1 and Fake 2.
