A little after 8:00 P.M., Tyrrell and his team climbed into a wagon and drove toward the train station. Along the way, as arranged, Swegles jumped in for a quick consultation. Everything was on schedule, he told Tyrrell. The Hub gang would meet at the station and take the 9:00 train, riding the first car. Tyrrell handed Swegles fifteen dollars. Swegles jumped out and hurried toward the station on foot.
