What do you do if you will be absent from an event?

Absences should be rare and must be communicated in advance (minimum 2 weeks' notice) using the "Time Away Request" section of your weekly on Roompact. In case of emergencies or illness, LLAs must notify their supervisor as soon as possible via Teams.

1 hour. Clarke will have 6 hours of event shifts, plus 2 hours of LLA meetings, and 1 hour of 1-on-1 time, which leaves one extra hour for office hours.

Who does room set up at LLA events?

Due to staffing changes within University Housing Operations, HOPS will no longer set rooms for LLC events. Room spaces such as Classrooms and Multi-Purpose Rooms (MPRs) will be set in traditional classroom style at the beginning of the semester. Whenever a room is reserved for programming needs, our staff will have to move tables and chairs to fit the needs of the space and return the room to classroom style at the end of the program for the next day.


If LLC needs program space setup with tables and chairs for large-scale programming held in Residence Halls lobbies, a request can be sent to University Facilities. University Facilities can provide setup and take down of tables and chairs for program needs at a fee.
