it brings the boys out of the forest for a meeting and it symbolizes power.

the idea that he cant kill a pig is because they can see him coming so he camouflages himself to the jungle surroundings.

the fear every natural being has and how it can take over a someone to making them act savage... also the deterioration of the island and how it has been getting chaotic

he believes that he should be in the leadership and Ralph should be "impeached" because he is a coward

it symbolizes the idea that once you have gotten so far into savagery that you can kill off all the hope and good morals you may have had.
