Level 1 instructors teach material straight from a resource and teach to a general audience. Level 2 instructors are expected to be able to take base material and adapt it to a specific age group, community, or interest group.

What are the key differences between an instructor and an examiner?

Where an instructor is responsible for facilitating, teaching, and basic evaluation in any and all courses they are qualified to teach, an examiner is a role specific to lifesaving, lifeguarding, and first aid courses.
