True. The metric "Facilities Score" is comprised of data from the FCA, and rolls up into the overall Building Experience Score. The other categories are Learning Spaces, [Spaces for] Wellness and Enrichment, and [Spaces for] Caring Adults

What is a Facilities Condition Assessment?

The Facilities Condition Assessment (FCA) is  an objective, industry-standard analysis of building conditions conducted by a third-party vendor, Bureau Veritas from Spring of 2022 through Summer of 2023. The data collected from these assessments will help to better understand the state of facilities across the district and provide more accurate and robust facilities information, including current conditions, useful life estimates, replacement costs, and detailed asset inventory across the district.

What is a project close out?

The end of a project when the newly constructed school building is handed over to the client, complete with final inspections and approvals. The most recent example of this is JQUS. Once PFD has finalized all components of the project, the building will be handed over to BPS. At that point any new issues become our responsibility.

How many newly installed water foundations are there in the district?

690 filtered water bottle refill stations have been installed as part of the Drinking Water Access Initiative. Across 88 schools
