What is a Text to Self connection?
A Text to Self connection is something that relates a personal experience to the book you are reading.
**In many stories, you will be able to relate to what is going on. It could be as simple as the idea that you and one of the characters you are reading about are in the same grade.

A text to text connection is something that relates to the book to a another book/ story.
* Example: The book I am reading remind me of another story I have read. Both books have kids who are in third grade.

Describe what a text to world connection may be.
*A text to world connection is any connection NOT relating to YOU or another book. It is something that relates the outside world to the book, like a TV show, a friend person from history, or a place.
Ex.: Dyamonde Daniel lives in New York. The Statue of Liberty is also in New York.
