Explain dry drowning vs wet drowning

Dry: Upon submersion the larynx spasms and closes off the airway, preventing water from entering the lungs, but also preventing air from entering as well. This can result in respiratory arrest leading to asphyxiation.

Wet: caused when the victim is submerged and the larynx relaxes, allowing water to enter the lungs and blocking the ability to exchange oxygen and carbon dioxide, damaging the lungs, and resulting in asphyxiation.
