The water then travels through many miles of old pipe before it reaches your home. So to get the most accurate results we would like to test the water at the point of consumption, your kitchen sink. It's shocking sometimes to see how much the properties of the water have changed in route to your home.

(That’s a great question) In most areas the test results are similar. However, we do find variations depending on what water supply you’re on. Some communities have more than one water source. Also, the condition and age of the pipes that get the water to your house and the plumbing in your own home can alter the quality of the water. Therefore, it’s best to test the water right from the point of consumption, your kitchen faucet.
