Yes. For security purposes, you will need to set a PIN for your new Debit Mastercard, and you can do this during the activation by phone
Will my Mastercard be accepted everywhere?
Yes, Mastercard is accepted almost everywhere at over 150 million merchant location.
Can I add my new card to my mobile wallet?
Yes, we encourage you to add your new debit card into your mobile wallet beginning April 1st, as a reminder you will also want to delete your VISA card to avoid using the incorrect card.
Does MIDFLORIDA still print cards in branch?
Yes, members can stop by at any branch to have their new debit card printed within minutes.

How can I active my new Debit Mastercard?
You can activate your card within the MIDFLORIDA mobile app or by calling the number on the card. You will need to call the number you set a PIN number.
What happens to my existing debit card rewards?
Your debit card rewards will stay the same and you will not lose any rewards you've already accumulated.
Can I keep the same card number?
No, you will have a new card number, expiration date, and CVV code. Please make sure to update any place you have your MIDFLROIDA card saved once you receive your new card to avoid any confusion or late payments.
Will I be able to keep the same design I have now?
We did keep a few designs that were popular amongst our members and have some new options as well!
If I activated my new Mastercard before April 1st, will I still be entered in the 10k giveaway?
Activating of the care will not count as an entry however all qualifying purchases from April 1sr-20th will count.
Can I activate and use my Mastercard if it arrives before April 1st?
Yes, you can active and start using your Mastercard as soon as it arrives.
Do I need to set up account alerts again?
No! Your account alerts will carry over from your existing debit card to help you stay on top of your spending.
Can I use my new card at ATMs?
Yes, your new card will work at an ATM if you have called to set a PIN number.
If I have multiple accounts will I need a new Mastercard for each account?
Yes, each personal checking account with a Visa debit card linked to it will be reissued a new Debit Mastercard
What is considered a qualifiying purchase?
Purchases or payments of $5.00 or more during the entry period are considered qualifying purchases.
How long will my VISA debit card work?
Your VISA debit card is set to close April 20th regardless of the expiration date.
Do I still have the same protection and fraud monitoring?
Yes, you have those same continued security benefits plus enhanced features as well with Mastercard ID theft protection.
Is Mastercard's liability protection for unauthorized purchases the same as VISA?
Yes, Mastercard offers the not only the same protection, but they also offer more enhanced features.
Why are you replacing my existing card?
Your new Debit Mastercard will help us to serve you better by providing you with added benefits you can use every day.
How will the winners be notified?
Winners will be notified by phone and email using the contact information we have on file.
What if I haven't received my new debit card?
Cards are scheduled to arrive by April 1st,so if you haven't received your card by that time you can visit any MIDFLROIDA branch to issue and pick up you new card same day.
Will I still be enrolled in smart save?
Yes, smart save will continue rounding up your purchase and transferring them to your savings account.
Do I need to update my card information for automated payments?
Some payments may be updated automatically if the merchant allows or system to do so, but we recommend updating any recurring payments yourself such as bills, subscriptions, and automated payments.
Why is my VISA debit card nor working in my wallet?
Your VISA debit card will be closed on April 20th and will need to be replaced by adding your new Mastercard debit card into your wallet.
How do I ensure I am entered into the 10k a day giveaway?
Qualifying purchases happen automatically and there is no action required form you to be entered. The more qualifying purchases you make the more entries you will have.
