This will possibly be offered a couple of times each semester.

Be sure to review the material before taking one.

Most of our math class time will be doing this.
What is independent work on the iPad?
Borrow or check out from me.
What should I do if I don't have a pencil or earphones?
Completed on paper with me instead of online. You will leave your iPad at your desk. You may use a class calculator.
What are unit tests (or topic tests)?
Ninety percent of your grade.
What is activities, classwork, guidebook notes, quizzes, tests, performance tasks, and project-based learning?
Complete all in the classroom. We are not a virtual school.
What is Edgenuity quizzes and tests?
You can bring as long as it is not distracting, and you clean up after yourself.
What is food and water bottles?
In your class period bin or in your backpack.
Where should I keep my guidebook?
When questions should be asked
What is before school, after school, during seminar, in the hallway, via email, and during class?
A grade of 80-89%.
What is an B?
The screener we will take on Monday, August 26th (before we start Edgenuity).
What is Fastbridge?
Check and/or respond to text or phone messages during break. If there is an emergency, be sure your family knows they should contact the front office.
What if someone wants to contact you during the school day?
Stapled to your guidebook or your folder.
Where is your math course checklist?
In addition to unit tests/topic tests, these will also be completed on paper.
What are performance tasks and project-based learning?
You can see your updated grades here, not in Edgenuity. Grades should be updated by Monday mornings.
What is PowerSchool?
Complete one course first and then the second course. Your checklist will reflect that situation.
What do people who go to math for two class periods do?
After you ask permission, you fill this out in order to leave class.
